My days are different now that I have begun to use Instagram. Before Instagram, I would grab my keys and my coffee and head out to work with a frown on my face thinking about the drab of a day I was going to have. I would think about the stress and the tension in my office. There were many days where I couldn’t get out of bed because I had nothing to look forward to other than my crappy job.
Now that I use Instagram, my outlook has changed. I actually look forward to my day. The following are 5 reasons my life has changed because of Instagram.

Something to Look Forward to
Before I used Instagram, there was not much to look forward to on a Monday morning. I would roll out of bed and slowly battle with myself as to whether I was going to work or not. I felt down and had nothing in my day that was positive and exciting. When I started using Instagram, I felt like I had a challenge every day to find something to take an awesome picture of. After all, everyone wants to get likes for Instagram photos. It became a hobby of mine and gave me something I enjoyed to break up the monotonous everyday tasks.

Creative Outlet
I like to think I am a creative person. I think most people do. So when I was able to use Instagram as an outlet for my creativity with beautiful pictures and angles I became very happy. I felt like I had a new skill to learn.

Forged Connections
Followers can, believe it or not, become friends. I have forged friendships through Instagram meeting unique people that share common interests and goals. They have taught me new things and I have been able to share my strengths with them. It is a true community.

Makes the World a Little Prettier
The world is a beautiful place. But when you are wearing stress goggles it may not look so marvelous. Instagram forced me to look at the little beauties around me. I looked for lighting that took someone sitting at a bench and made it emotional.

Gives Purpose
I already mentioned how Instagram is a community and as such has given me purpose. I have been able to work with people on projects, help others in need by donating my time and money to causes, and joining activist movements like the #metoo movement. My voice, share, and post matters.

Entrepreneurship
In addition to personal reasons, Instagram has been a great boost for my dream of owning my own business. I had ideas, but never knew how I would sell my items or get my brand out there. Instagram has been a perfect platform to show people what I make and find my target audience. I bought real likes and followers to get the ball rolling and now I have a ton of new clients!
Instagram has been a confidence and overall life booster. It gives me meaning and hope and helps me make little everyday wins into the victories they really are. So thank you Instagram.
