What I Love About Being an Influencer

It goes without saying that every job has ups and downs. There are good and bad aspects of any profession. Even if you ask people who are at the very top of their chosen profession, with all the success in the world, they will tell you some negative aspect about their professional life. And being an influencer is not an exemption to that rule.

I have been an influencer for five years now. When I first started out on Instagram, I was like everyone else. I was just discovering the platform and getting used to it. I was posting fun pictures and liking everything my friends were posting. Then I started reading about the people who would be on Instagram and making money for each post they were making. It is then that I decided that I would increase Instagram followers on my account so that I could do the same.

It was not an easy process. I had to do a lot of posting and I had to make sure that I was always replying to people’s comments and engaging. But I also took some shortcuts to speed up the process. I will admit that I did buy followers at one point. And I am delighted that I did. It helped me a lot and it ensured that I was able to grow my account at an even greater speed.

Whenever I am asked about the things I love about being an influencer, I have to take a moment and think. I would say the best aspect is being seen as someone whose opinion matters. I believe that you have to be a certain type of person if you want to become an influencer. If you are the type who wants to keep to themselves, you will not be a good influencer. But if you are like me, and you always want to be the center of attention, you will love it.

Another perk of being an influencer that I love is all the free items that I am given. There is no doubt that if you are an influencer people will be lining up to give you free things. And they are not doing this out of the goodness of their heart. They are doing it because they want to be the ones who are getting their products promoted. So I am well aware that I am not given these items because I am special. It is because I have such a great account and relationship with my followers.

The final perk that I noticed from being an influencer is how you are able to explore so many new places and things. Part of my job is ensuring that I am always producing interesting and fresh content. When I am taking a photo, video or posting a story, I want to make sure that it is not boring. And that means going away from my comfort zone and exploring new places. It also means that I get to try so many new products that I would otherwise not bother with.
